Ny turns 5 in October

This was in the draft for the longest time

Ny turn 5 years old in October and we party our way. Booked a room in Royal Crown Plaza. Brought along the gold swan and had a blast!

I was pretty embarrassed to invite the relatives yearly... takut ada yang mulut laser yang akan sound...
'Every year buat birthday'
'Eh buat birthday lagi, last year pun buat birthday kan?'

Its not me ok, come September and even as early as August, my cousins will start asking 'Birthday Nyla amacam? apa theme?' They are the one who always look forward.

I expressed my concerned to my mum about this, iyelah malulah kita, nanti orang ingat kita buat birthday mengharapkan present every year.

My dad replies wins 'We want to mengiratkan silraturahim, if anyone kasi present alhamdullah. Nanti kita bungkuskan nasi bohari!'

Dream big, sparkle more

Can you handle all the sparkle.
We love birthdays and mummy will go all the extra mile to make sure all are executed well.

Cake are from Chocolate origin... heaven sent.

I ask S to gel and style the kids hair.. and everybody fell in love...
mak bapak kemaruk amik gambar anak yang rambut dah smart....
and the 2 duos, above pics, whenever there is cake, these 2 selalu in front.
Baby Shaila wearing adorable headband crown by Ny and Lu.
Both the bapaks and all the mummies had a blast.
And someone got really thirsty and try to drink directly from the source.

And at 11pm, we close shop... semua KO

Sometime I thinks that I am wonderwoman and sleeping at 4am on a working day just to make bows for my favourite gentlemen. But seeing the end result... totally worth it. Bows by Ny and Lu.

Oh hello October

Few years back the month of October is just like one of the  other months aside for June, July, and December. Nothing to look forward to.

I just look at the calendar to check if there is any public holiday so that I can plan for a short trip.

After 2011, once October comes, I get excited. Even S gets excited in October. And looking at Ny and her size. I think we did a pretty good job there.

So come on.... Let's party like a rockstar in October.

Superhero

This is so long overdue.

I love hosting parties at lulu.

We did a mini zoo celebrataion the last time.

Few months back before puasa, I had another bash.

This time the theme was SUPERHERO.

and we all had a blast....

When the Ayah watched Stone Roses

S was out of town... watching the Stone Roses <jeolous mode>.

Mummy and Ny have our own fun. We went to birthday parties, we go jalan jalan, we eat ice cream.

Knowing that I was at work the whole of Saturday, my aunt came in the wee hours to kidnapp Nyla. I am truly bless to have aunties and uncles who willingly and with open arms help to look after this little girl of mine. Asal message ajer, my cousin will reply 'My father ajak dia gi playground' 'She went down with Cik Su, gi playground' 'Oh my father ajak dia gi jalan kat playground' 'Oh we going vivo, nak main air'

Wahhh macam mana tak enjoy, mandang gi playground ajer. I thank them from the bottom of my heart. And I am glad this little girl, pandai bawak diri, no tantrum, no shouting (so different if she is out with her mummy and ayah). I always remind her 'You better behave ok' I wonder if she understand.

We love long weekend

What a lovely longgggg weekend. Mine start early on Thursday. Blissfully long holiday. Absolute Heaven... Oh have I said that already.

When you're a mum, you are still consider working even if its the holiday. The house is in a frequent mess, but I swallow it all in. Feeling a SAHM for that precious 6 days. Truthfully I have to admit that I feel more tired at home as compared to the office, but the feeling is more PUAS.

S was working thru out the holidays, so Mummy and Ny, just stay home with our PJs in that glorious gloomy weather.

We had a birthday party over the weekend, so on Friday afternoon before all the shops closes their door, we raid Toy'rus. Nyla shriek at every items she can lay her tiny little hands on. She insist on a scary little doll, which look as if it can blink and talk at night when every body is asleep. Hell no... mummy is scared of dolls.

I have to juggle a wriggly, screaming baby, a stroller and a big plastic bag of toys while queueing to pay at the cash out counter. Everyone were just starting at a tiny baby girl who look so dainty and demure with her little dress and teeny tiny hair clips but can shout and shriek that can cause her Mummy's glasses to crack. Go imagine that.
Then we went to Changi City Point to play with balloons, basking at the balcony, feeling the rain splashing in and tempias on our face, soaking the play mat, looking through the window on every morning if the weather is good for a day out while mummy try to make a good burger.

On days, where all shops were close and we were stranded at home due to the bad weather, we took our paints and feeling feeling Van Gogh. Its art lesson with Aunty Chu, where she teaches primary and secondary colours to Ny. In which she totally ignore and create her own masterpiece. It was suppose to be hand and finger painting but it  turn out to be body painting too. My liitle Van Gouh with full of expression and concentration painted her hand, tummy, hands and fingers and proudly show and presented to me. Since she cant talk all she did was smile and giving me a toothy and sniffling smile and said  'Bbbaaaaaaaa......." in human language, I assume its 'Loooooooooooookkkk Mummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

Me love longggg holidays like this. My only complaint is the over whelming baju yang dah terkeluar from my laundry basket, as long as S have new underwear to wear, I'm happy and the baju baju boleh relek dulu kat laundry basket.

Full of anniversaries

I first witness love when I was a kid. It's from the 2 people I call Ayah and Ibu. After all these years, I can still see the love they have for each other. He stills steal kisses from her, they still hold hands and hug each other. I am bless to have both of them as parent. As they celebrate their 33 years Anniversary, I wish and pray for them never ending love, good health, gratitude and affection, and inspire myself to do better in my marriage and love my child more. Insyallah. Amin!

To my Husband,
Roses are red, violets are blue, chili is hot and so are you >.<
I love you.

Oh yeay, we share the same anniversary date, course I want to rock like my parents!!!
