Ramadan Mubarak

Ny is slowly changing the way I celebrate Ramadan.

Now that she is turning 4 years old and able to understand the basis of fasting.

'Kesian eh poor people if got no money to eat. Mummy and ayah dia tak work?'
'Huh? no susu also, but ada green tea tak?'
'Huh? kesian, then hungry how?'
'Nyya cannot tahan, Nyya no patience'
'Ok Nyya fast lah., but can drink susu kan?'
'Cannot eat rice and chicken only right? but Nyya suka skali chichken. Suka se.ka.li. Sangat'
Sigh... she is starting to talk like me.

She wakes up on auto every time I prepare for sahur. She ate her koko crunch with her eyes close.

'Go sleep Ny'
'Nyya nak fast. Nak try'

When it's time to break fast she will also wait with us with her Dora cup.

'Mummy, dah bang?'
The sistas will always tease 'Macam u puasa!'

Every Ramadan, i look forward to the weekly family Iftar. On every weekend we will rotate Iftar-ing at my aunt's place, sembayang jemaah together, terawih together.

Love the love!
