Luq's Majlis Kesyukuran

We had Luq's majlis kesyukuran when he was 10 weeks old, a week before puasa.

This time I had fun planning his event. We engaged Little Rizq Chulla. Love it! The pelamin was such a big hit.

This time round we had a really chill majlis, unlike the sister, yang ni relek sikit. No marhaban, no makcik makcik yg I tak kenal. My aunties have the habit of inviting their friend over. hahaha

'Datang lah majlis cucu abang I, datang eh'
'Jah, this one mummy's fren at work, I jemput dia'
'Jah, this one kawan kerja cik ona, dia kenal mak kau, I jemput'

And my parents will always welcome all my auntie's friend with open arms.

Anyway, food was cooked by Datin. I am so blessed to have family members who will chip in food.

'I bikin mee soto'
'I dah ordekan you roti boyan and bubur kacang hijau'
'I sponsor beefsteek'
'I buat pasta and chicken salad'

Alhamdullilah.

We create a kids corner. Angkut Nyla's portable TV and on Despicable me so that mak mak can catch up on their gossip. Bibik bibik also can relek.

The Weddding

Alhamdulillah the little sister has tied the knot.

These time it was a little breezier...not as kecoh as my kerja kawin. We learn from the past.

With an eccentric and OCD bride, no one dare to make any mistake. She has wrap us in her skinny tiny finger.

And my most proud sister's moment was when the bride gave her thank you speech... touching betol and my most proud mummy moment was when Ny gave her thank you speech too....

Another wedding coming up

The baby of the family (aside from Nyla) is finally engaged!! Alhamdulilah.

The most headwind and the most bossy among us... Not easy to please her with the decoration of the dulang and the sets. Ini tak nak itu tak nak. Geram Kadang.

On the night of the event, mummy and Ny went into the cold room at Far East flora to grab some fresh flowers. Event tak complete kalau tak Ada bunga. We had fun choosing flowers, Ny ignore the cold and keep twirling and twirling in there. She kept putting flowers into the basket. Like ye ye like that. Terpekik pekik mummy.

The event went smoothly, food was delicious, thanks to Datin and all the makcik makcik and I love all the shots taken. De javu all over again.

Another wedding to plan soon. I love being a busy bee. Keep my mind and my head straight.

Ok, deco booked, bridal booked, catering booked, now it's just the nitty gritty bits.

Oh and this Saturday it's another rockstar birthday bash, my dad and S!!! Definitely having a blast!!!!!

We love birthdays and mummy will go all the extra mile to make sure all are executed well.

Cake are from Chocolate origin... heaven sent.

I ask S to gel and style the kids hair.. and everybody fell in love...

Sometime I thinks that I am wonderwoman and sleeping at 4am on a working day just to make bows for my favourite gentlemen. But seeing the end result... totally worth it. Bows by Ny and Lu.

Weekend Bliss

I love weddings. One of my beloved cousin finally tied the knot. Decor was gorgeous by Comel Molek. Food was great, bridal gown and make up meletop from Versarie ade, MUA was Fatima. DJ Rosly was spontenous and crowd pleaser. There was his trademark segment wherre everybody cry their eyes out. Habis make up I.

We decorate the pengantin room and the dulang was done by the aunty. Nyla and all her cousins, these tiny people, bermaharaja lela throught the day, panjat sana panjat sini. Balik nak tido mengngigau.

Last week, we had our 'Burger Day'. Went swimming in the morning, had lunch at Vegan burger. Not as nice as I was expeting, so so ajer. Malamnya we conquer the big ass burger from badoque. I was laughing my ass off when the waiter brought the burger to our table. Nyla kept saying 'wow wow', mcm record rosak.

The following day, we went to Jentayu's. The sis dah gatal nak kawin. We went to sign up for her decor package. Wow, wihin two years, price naik $2k eh. Terkejut I.

Just yesterday, we had doa selamat for our weekend journey. To be honest, it still feels surreal and I’m overwhelmed with excitement and nervousness.

Oh yes, I have also been busy making this cute headbands for my bulat. The sis was saying, why not sell these....

Good Idea.... Once I'm back I will crate a page...

Redemption Song

We drop by Esplanade waterfront to catch Reggae O-Regional last weekend. We love reggae music and free gigs. S was at his turf, swaying with Ny strap to him.

A JB reggae band, Redemption was performing when we arrived. They were really good, not sure if they were on something or they were just reallyyyyy into the music. But I was really impressed with their performance all these mat johors. Talented bunch. There was a member who played the saxaphone. I think its sexy when a guy knows how to play the saxaphone, so I whisper to S

I wished I had a fork in hand so that I can really poke his eye balls.

On another note, found out that Joss stone and Esparanza Spalding will be performing in town during the Mosaic Festival. But I wont be around. We're going for a trip... So sayang... S asked 'Abih amacam? Nak cancel trip?'

Full of anniversaries

I first witness love when I was a kid. It's from the 2 people I call Ayah and Ibu. After all these years, I can still see the love they have for each other. He stills steal kisses from her, they still hold hands and hug each other. I am bless to have both of them as parent. As they celebrate their 33 years Anniversary, I wish and pray for them never ending love, good health, gratitude and affection, and inspire myself to do better in my marriage and love my child more. Insyallah. Amin!
